Briefly about me

I've always wanted to help. Ever since I was a little boy. I was treating my sick teddy bear, giving him injections and pills (both my parents were doctors, what could you expect? 😁 ) I tried to give an injection to my cousin too but he never let me 😂

When I grew up, I understood that I can't help people if they don't want to be helped. And that was a personal tragedy because I was seeing their pain and the cause of their problem. But could do nothing to help, unless they let me.

And all my life I've been learning how to help more effectively. I've done a lot of courses and I continue learning. Because I do want to be really helpful.

I’m a really inquisitive person, a man of many interests, vocations and hobbies.

I’m a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and I do my best to follow His teachings and live in the power of His Holy Spirit.

I’m a happy husband and a proud father (got married in Sep 1993 and have two wonderful grown-up children).

I’ve been teaching English and translating/interpreting since 1989.

I’m a learner: I read all the time and love learning new things. I don’t buy the ready answers and solutions they’re forever offering us. I love digging into things, not just scratching the surface.

I love languages: besides English, I’ve studied Russian, French, Swedish, German and now Italian.

I’m a pioneer: I don’t usually follow paths that others have trodden. I make new ways and I reach out to new horizons.

I’m an entrepreneur: I was an employee for less than a year for all my working life. I’ve done small/middle-size business for about 15 years and I’ve mostly been a freelancer.

I’m an educator: I love teaching: I teach and train on many different topics both in Bulgarian and English. I’ve delivered lectures and seminars at New Bulgarian University, I’ve been a teacher trainer at Oxford University Press. I teach and train in the area of personal development, dealing with the past, life principles, relationships, direct sales and network marketing.

I’m a helper: I help people live a healthy lifestyle and look better and younger.

I’m a host 🙂 I host events, programs and weddings (yes, that too! 🙂 ).

I’m an active citizen: I have a clear civil stand and take active part in the political processes in my country and the world.

I’m a traveller: I’ve traveled a lot in many countries and love traveling…

I’m artistic: I danced for a few years Bulgarian folk dances, I’ve played a number of musical instruments, I’ve sung in a choir, I’ve taken opera singing classes, I took part in the school drama in English for 2 years with a professional director who staged the plays at the City Theatre in Rousse… I often do Zumba dances, too. For the fun of it and the energy 🙂

I’m not very active physically but I'm working on it: working out and doing physical exercises as often as I manage…

You couldn’t figure out what exactly I am? Well, welcome aboard! 🙂 That’s the most serious challenge for me – I juggle at least ten things at a time and do my best to excel in all of them 🙂 And I’m always working on how to balance them better.
